I saw a commercial the other night for Klondike Chocolate Tacos. This inspired me to make some healthy dessert tacos for us here at DAMY Health!

I made the main recipe featured, which is a creamy, chocolate dessert taco first and then played with other great healthy DAMY Fillings to create other flavors (see links featured below).

These dessert tacos are fun, easy, different and delicious! Kids are going to love these as well as adults! Think outside the box for your next party, get together or dinner.

I hope you enjoy them as much as we did!

This recipe is gluten free, clean, vegan, high fiber, and packed with healthy fats and vitamins!

 
Healthy Vegan Chocolate DessertTacos
 

Healthy Chocolate Tacos (Dessert Tacos)

Prep time: 15 Minutes – Cook time: 5-7 Minutes – Total time: 20 Minutes
Yield: 12+ Healthy Chocolate Tacos

Ingredients:

  • 6 12-inch Brown Rice Wraps (cut into 4-inch wraps)
  • 3 Avocados
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 4 Tbsp Agave (Maple Syrup, Honey or Stevia)
  • 2 Packets Stevia
  • 1/3 Cup Cocoa Powder
  • 1/4 Cup Dark Chocolate Chips
  • Extra Dark Chocolate Chips for Decorating

Directions:

  1. Pre-heat your oven to 375 F.
  2. Using a round 4-inch cookie cutter (or any round 4-inch mold) cut out your 4-inch Brown Rice Wraps.
  3. Spray brown rice wraps lightly with olive oil on both sides.
  4. Place in the oven draped over your baking rack (see link for visual).
  5. Bake for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crunchy.
  6. Remove from oven and let sit and cool.
  7. Tip – I baked 6 at a time to make this process easier.
  8. Place all chocolate filling ingredients (or whichever filling you choose below) into your food processor and blend until smooth.
  9. Scoop into taco shells.
  10. Top as desired.
  11. Serve and enjoy!
