Earlier this year we released the first of our Healthy Rebel Series – the Healthy Rebel Raw Recipes (to read more go here). We heard your cries for our first Healthy Rebel Raw Recipes eBook Cookbook and now wanted to give you our Healthy Rebel Cooked & Baked Recipes Edition!
This edition, the Healthy Rebel Cooked & Baked Recipes contains both vegan and vegetarian recipes.
If you are dairy free or vegan you can still enjoy the vegetarian options with some slight adaptations. Each recipe is labeled with either our vegan or vegetarian icon depending on the category it falls in.
All recipes found in this ebook Cookbook are created with whole, natural ingredients that leave you feeling healthy and glowing from the inside out.
Why The Healthy Rebel?
The Healthy Rebel has a lot of meaning for us here at DAMY Health. On one level I, myself, am a “bad girl gone good”. Being a rebel runs in my blood and embodies who I am. The irony of that is I am extremely focused on health.
When I set out on my journey to lose body fat, gain muscle, be happy, heal my body and be successful in life I knew out of the gate I would always be a rebel. Every diet book I read told me I couldn’t have desserts or my favorite guilty pleasure recipes. I didn’t believe it and I wouldn’t accept it. So, I set out on a journey to create natural, whole ingredient, real food dessert, treat and meal recipes that I could enjoy or to serve during occasions while still losing body fat, retaining lean muscle and feeling consistently vibrant, energized and healthy.
This is how I became The Healthy Rebel. I wanted cake AND to fit in my skinny jeans.
All of the recipes you will find here are made with whole, natural, real food ingredients bringing us back to the basics of what eating real food should be like. We avoid chemicals, processed packaged foods and genetically modified ingredients. When eating real food your body naturally knows how to digest, absorb and use the nutrients from the food.
All calories are not created equally. Since learning how to eat a real whole food, nourishing diet I quit counting calories and will never go back. All calories in this cookbook are those from real foods that contain dense nutrient value. There are no empty calories here.
The food in this cookbook will be used by your body to give you energy, glowing skin and vibrant health. The wonderful part about eating real food is that you can enjoy what you are eating without gaining body fat.
