3 Ingredient Chocolate Pudding (Vegan)

This 3 Ingredient Chocolate Pudding recipe is crazy good. I would describe it as a rich chocolate fudge pudding. It has a wonderful nutrient profile, is super high in fiber and is crazy filling. The sweetness from the dates combined with the cocoa gives a unbelievably satisfying chocolate flavor to this pudding. This recipe takes minutes to throw together and once completely cooled tastes divine. If you are craving chocolate this week I highly recommend this recipe. This recipe is raw, vegan, gluten free, dairy free, high fiber, no added sugar and contains only three simple ingredients. If you...

Roasted Mediterranean Salad (Vegan)

This salad is super easy to toss together, isn’t fussy on portions or ingredients and can be tailored to your taste. This is a simple salad that is packed with vegan protein that I have been enjoying lately. It is super filling and can be enjoyed as a salad, over pasta or even in a wrap. The falafels I used were mini vegan falafels that we not fried and only contain a few simple ingredients that I found at my local market. These are not necessary in this recipe but if you have them they add another interesting layer....

Being a mean vegan is just plain crazy

Can we talk about being mean on the internet for a minute? Can we all acknowledge that it is insane and has no upside? I find the the most insane mean behaviour comes up around really uncontroversial things. Like, what I eat for lunch or my use of the word “diet”. I have been yelled at through keyboards about being vegan and I have been yelled at by vegans for not being vegan enough. Being yelled at to change….doesn’t work. Look into it. Being an example of what has worked for me in my life is my goal. I...

Nutrition Hacks for Weight Loss

I’m a sucker for “nutrition hacks for weight loss” (or really – “life hacks” of any kind). If something is going to help me in the slightest way I want to know about it. That is why I am excited about the recent research in nutrition and weight loss. Amy is also thrilled about these new studies because what is coming out in the research this year supports her nutrition guidelines and weight loss advice (in her Online Programs). Today I want to bring some of the recent studies to this edition of #AskDrDuizer. These will help you eat...

What to do when negative opinions are weighing you down

“Opinion is our estimate of reality” This is so important to remember when dealing with others “unsolicited opinions”. They are nothing more than a projection of their beliefs about life. It is life through their personal looking glass. It has nothing to do with you and has much to say about their thoughts instead. I use my opinions as a guiding system for my own spiritual growth. If I see a lot of darkness, hear gossip about others or have harsh thoughts I know I have some cleaning up to do. If, however, I see the good in each...

Epi 9: Why does Kim Kardashian continue to flash me?

In today’s episode the conversation is lively and a bit all over the place. I have to admit I drank a bit too much tea before recording and am a bit hyper. I am very candid and brutally honest. Green Julius (Healthy Orange Julius)

When I was little I loved Orange Julius. As I became older and found out ingredients included regular sugar, dairy (and eggs?) I quickly fell out of love. It is super easy, refreshing and reminds you of those classic flavors from your childhood. This recipe is raw, vegan, gluten free, packed with nutrients, fibre and antioxidants.
