Quinoa has recently gained a lot of buzz. It has been called the new “superfood”.

Here at DAMY Health we love quinoa for a few reasons:

  • It is a healthy carbohydrate that is higher in protein.
  • It is easy to digest.
  • It is gluten free.
  • It is often called a grain but in fact it is a seed.
  • It is quick and easy to make.
  • It is delicious in sweet recipes, savory, cold and warm recipes.
  • You can use quinoa at breakfast, lunch, dinner and even dessert!
