One thing I do every week to make my life easier (and my husband’s) is make large batches of certain foods to have in the refrigerator for quick-to-grab meals. For example, if I’m making quinoa I make a large batch. I store it in the refrigerator and then I can grab it at any time to toss together a meal when we are super busy.
I use quinoa in salads, soups, on its own and for breakfast.
For myself, I find quinoa doesn’t make me bloat and makes me feel fueled for the day. When I have it in the refrigerator I can just grab a cup of it, toss it in a bowl and add all the nutritious and delicious toppings I have available.
