I am all about making living a healthy lifestyle as easy as possible. This Caramel Apple Quinoa Breakfast Bowl is a super easy, delicious breakfast option.

One thing I do every week to make my life easier (and my husband’s) is make large batches of certain foods to have in the refrigerator for quick-to-grab meals. For example, if I’m making quinoa I make a large batch. I store it in the refrigerator and then I can grab it at any time to toss together a meal when we are super busy.

I use quinoa in salads, soups, on its own and for breakfast.

For myself, I find quinoa doesn’t make me bloat and makes me feel fueled for the day. When I have it in the refrigerator I can just grab a cup of it, toss it in a bowl and add all the nutritious and delicious toppings I have available. One of my favorite ways in the Fall season to dress up my quinoa bowls is using this Caramel Apple Quinoa Breakfast Bowl Recipe.

At my house we always have salted caramel AKA date caramel in the refrigerator. This way we can grab a tbsp here and there to dress up any meal or snack. With this recipe it just gives it that extra Fall yumminess.

Yield: Makes 1 Serving

Caramel Apple Quinoa Breakfast Bowl

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Pre-Cooked Quinoa
  • 1/2 Cup Rice/Almond/Coconut Milk (No Added Sugar)
  • 1 Chopped Apple
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 5 Drops Liquid Stevia (not necessary and to-taste)
  • 2 Tbsp Hemp Seeds
  • 1 Tbsp Ground Flax
  • 1 Tbsp Pre-Made Date Caramel (Link Here)

Directions:

  1. Layer quinoa, hemp seeds, flax, cinnamon, stevia, chopped apple, milk and top with date caramel.
  2. Serve and enjoy!
