Limit alcohol consumption. Alcohol consumption can be directly related to a stall in weight loss. It also can be related to access belly fat and slower metabolism. Alcohol contributes to mood swings, aging of the skin and depression. This is not to say that all alcohol consumption is bad. 1 – 2 glasses per week is acceptable. In access alcohol consumption however is associated with an elevated risk of various types of cancer, especially in women. Enjoy a glass or two per week and leave it at that!
