As our goals for the holidays creep closer I want to put into motion a two-week challenge. This challenge may seem slightly difficult at first but you will soon realize and feel that it is the way our bodies should function.

I want you to eliminate simple sugars for two-weeks. That is sugar in anything pre-packaged, for example, jellies, jams, milk chocolate, sweets, juice, and anything that has sugar or corn-syrup listed on the package. Fruits DO NOT apply to this. Fruits are complex sugars which are body needs. Also, the fiber in fruits help us eliminate fat from our body.

Stick to whole foods. Have the mind-set that if it wasn’t here 100 years ago don’t eat it! You will be amazed by the energy you have and how easily your body sheds access pounds.
