Of course the main thing you need to do to get optimal results are is following your plan perfectly. This means means on point and within choices, all your water everyday and when you’re working out giving it your all.
Then, to take it to the next level you want to move to the Kick It Up options to incorporate in your workouts. There is never a time that your workouts shouldn’t feel challenging. You can make walking ‘hard’ if you want to.
This daily, however, is about giving you that next kick. If you find yourself not progressing as much as you should I want you to take a look at your treat each week.
Basic Treat Options
Your treat it meant to be one occassion, one thing per week. You don’t want to go completely off the rails and off plan. Here are some options that are treats yet not crazy:
- A healthy steak dinner
- suishi
- thai food
- mexican
- a dark chocolate bar
- popcorn
- frozen yogurt or ice cream in a reasonable portion
- clear, no-sugar alcohol drinks (great options on the private site)
- a healthy dinner without counting portions + a carb
- a few glasses of wine
Healthy/Fun Treat Options
The best thing you can do if you’re looking for a treat yet you want to stay within your new goals and lifestyle while still treating your body like a goddess is to go to the blog for your next treat!
Any post that says, at the bottom, dessert or treat are awesome options for your treat for the week. These also have recommended portions. This is the absolute best way to have a treat and still have great success. These recipes are all made with whole, natural ingredients that your body knows what to do with. Your body will process these treats and keep going.
In the last year I’ve made great efforts to always put at the end of each post what meal the recipe is good for and what the portion size is.
Enjoy these and put positive energy around your treat. This is how you make your treat a positive experience!
