Getting Started: Welcome to the DAMY Lean

We are so grateful you decided to join our DAMY Lean program. We know you will find success with this program and we are so excited to be taking this journey with you.

Amy and I started DAMYHealth.com in 2009 with the goal of helping as many people as possible lose weight in a healthy, sustainable way. This program gives us the opportunity to achieve that goal. This program is hyper-focused on weight loss through a balanced system. Weight loss through a balanced diet. Weight loss through first achieving overall health and then watching the pounds drop.

Our backgrounds are in holistic health, balanced eating and medically supervised weight loss. Together this experience has allowed us to put together a program that anyone can use. Regardless of your past experiences with weight loss there will be something here that provides you benefit, that takes you past a struggle, that moves the scale. As a complete program it is everything you need to both figure out why you haven’t already reached your desired weight and to actually accomplish your dream weight.

What to focus on today:

Today we think you should start by making sure you are 100% set up. By the end of the day you should have completed the following:

  • Created your username and password for the DAMY Lean Portal
  • Signed up for the DAMY Lean Member private Facebook group for FB Live Check-ins
  • Made sure you received your welcome newsletter via email – if you did not receive it please sign up on your “My Account” page
  • Marked our next FB Live day on your calendar (it is next Tuesday at 2pm Pacific/5pm Eastern)
  • Looked over the Portal and became familiar with the different sections
  • Watched the video and read the section titled “The Basics”

What to do in this first week:

In the first week we want to make sure you get off to a great start. Here are some of our goals we have set for you to accomplish this week:

  • Followed the recommendations in “The Basics” section
  • Introduced yourself and engaged with other members in our community on the private FB group (if you are comfortable – if not, no worries)
  • Logged your baselines in the Tracking Zone
  • Worked your way through the videos and documents
  • Purchased your groceries and went full force into the program

Again, welcome. We are thrilled you are now a part of our community and we look forward to getting to know you. Let us know if you need anything. Below you will find a link to enter the Portal. This is your first step. Once you are there your journey begins!

Hi everyone, We are thrilled you have decided to include us in your journey. You won't regret it.

We are here for you in as much of a capacity as possible (through weekly FB Lives, forum Q&A, private FB group responses) but please make sure to either check with your Dr. (or consult Dr. Duizer personally) before starting any weight loss program, dramatically changing your diet, taking supplements, increasing your exercise intensity, etc. Be safe and if you have been diagnosed with a condition, are medicated or are generally unwell be sure to let your doctor know changes you intend to make to your lifestyle before doing so.
