Instead of freezing this, do you think it would work if I baked it?
Oh my!! I made this recipe yesterday and they are DELICIOUS!! I told my partner that I made some pecan bars (I didn’t really want to call them pecan pie and misguide the flavor) and he loved them. This is coming from a meat and potatoes kind of guy. I THEN told him they were vegan, gluten free, and sugar free (I used liquid stevia). I think my banana may have been a bit too ripe as the banana flavor was really intense, but I still really like this recipe a lot. I also had to drizzle a little water when I was processing my middle layer, since I used stevia instead of agave, to get it moving a bit. This is the second recipe here that I tried (the quinoa breakfast cups were the other) and they were both so good. I will definitely be making more and more recipes from you. Thanks, Amy!! You rock.
This is so awesome to hear!!! Thank you so much for sharing! I am thrilled you made them and loved them 🙂
Do you soak the dates overnight first?
Thanks
I followed the recipe to at and there’s no way the crust binds together
