Many of you have been asking about snacks.

Your best results will come from varying your options throughout the day. This means choosing a different snack for the morning than the afternoon. There are different choices for a reason and the closer you are to your goal or if you have a hard time losing the more important this truly is.
Some afternoon snacks are also in the morning, but try to not eat the same one in one day.

Portion sizes are extremely important. If you do not have it down to a science yet, keep measuring. If you have fallen off course go back to measuring. In this day and age we have been lied to about the amount of food we should be eating. It is a lie. The portions and “healthy” options our families have gotten used to are out of control. Take the time to re-teach your body and it will be thankful. The only reason that this is a challenge at first is because we have expanded ourselves. In order to get back to what you are supposed to eat and the amount you should be eating you need to re-teach your body. It takes some time and work but let me tell you coming from someone that has done it… it is worth it. Your body will change and you will feel better than you ever have. It is freedom!

I have gotten some emails from some of you that you are having a hard time with family.  The issue is that they pressure or tease you about your new lifestyle. There are many reasons for this.  Some may include: jealousy of your new attitude, fear that you will change and they will remain the same, and so many more. Many people are afraid of change. They are afraid of really giving life all they have. It makes them uncomfortable. All you can do is follow your dreams. You have chosen and taken the steps to create the best life for yourself. Don’t preach your new lifestyle just simply live it. Let your fabulousness be the living example of change, dedication, hard work, goal setting and choosing a better life for you and all the people around you. I promise you this…Everyone that matters will be happy for you and everyone that is around for the wrong reasons will leave or force you to leave them.
