Summer is here and things are heating up! Some days you just need a nice cold snack and who doesn’t love chocolate and peanut butter? These are loved by adults and kids alike. My suggestion would be to make them with agave if they are for children and make them with stevia is they are for an adult. There’s not a lot of sugar in this recipe but kids can always get away with a bit more than adults trying to lose weight. These healthy treats have nutritious fats, quality protein and satisfy that chocolate craving. Enjoy!
PS – David says these are his favourite thing I have ever came up with!
Healthy Peanut Butter Protein Fudgesicles
Ingredients:
- 1/2 Cup Non Fat Plain Greek Yogurt
- 1 Cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
- 1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 Tbsp Agave (or Stevia to make these sugar-free)
- 1/2 Cup Peanut Butter
- 3 Tbsp Natural Cocoa
- 3 Scoops Natural Protein Powder
Directions:
- Blend ingredients until smooth (I mixed it by hand and they were perfect).
- Place in popsicle holders and freeze overnight.
*Makes 6 fudgesicles.
*Serving = 1 fudgesicle
Tip – When fudgsicles are frozen and ready to eat place your popsicle holder under hot water warming all sides before removing the cover. This makes the fudgesicle come out smoothly.

These are my favorite snack ever!
Any suggestions for a substitute for the greek yogurt? I can’t do lactose or soy. I might just up the nut butter and leave it out, although they won’t be as creamy.
Hey Kimberly! I am thinking about it. Leave it with me and I will see what I can come up with! Have a great day!
Try almond yogurt (“amande” brand is delicious) or coconut yogurt! My son is allergic to dairy so I am always looking for substitutions. I find the coconut yogurt has a tangier, more coconutty flavor to it versus the almond which has a more delicate flavor and no weird aftertaste. Both are delicious!
I will definitely make these this weekend!!!
You will love them Joanne! They were a hit here!
if i have mocha mint protein powder could i omit the pb and have these still turn out?
These are amazing. Yum!! Better than the unhealthy ones you buy in the store. Thanks for the great recipe.
You are so welcome!
Hi just made these, mine are not as dark/chocolaty looking as yours! I had to use almond butter since my husband is allergic to peanuts. Also what cocoa powder and protein powder do you use?? Thanks for the recipe!
any ideas what the calories are?
These were gross. Way too much cocoa and the peanut butter amount is outrageous. Not very low cal.
I have made several batches of these. I’ve also substituted almond butter for the natural peanut butter. I’d like to know the nutritional values such as calories, fat, carbs, cholesterol, sugar, etc.
