This recipe is a lifesaver for me! As I’ve spoke of before, originally coming from Nova Scotia, maple syrup runs through my veins. I’ve made the joke before that where I come from there’s an actual season that is just called ‘Sugar Woods Season.’ This is the time of year you put on your rubber boots and walk back to the sugar woods. Here you get the freshest, best maple cream, syrup and candy on earth!
I wanted to create a recipe that would give me the maple cream flavor that was lower in sugar, higher in fiber and had some protein. Well, here it is!
This recipe is great for a snack, for entertaining or for a healthy option for the children. Cut up some fruit or some healthy crackers and serve! Even better, you can make our Cinnamon Sugar Ezekiel Chips. Simply follow this recipe but replace the hot sauce with stevia and cinnamon. Bake the same and you will have healthy sweet chips.
*Note – If you’re serving this as a dessert and want to make this fancy feel free to add a couple tbsp of mini white chocolate chips. I personally used a dairy-free brand.
This recipe is gluten free, vegan, high fiber, some protein, B vitamins, clean, creamy and yummy!

DAMY Members – 1/4 Cup with 1 apple can be used as meal 2. In a larger portion (with the white chocolate chips) this is a great treat option.

Can you use flax meal instead of ground flax? What’s the difference?
