Do you ever just crave chocolate and caramel? What about with some peanuts? What about a Snickers Bar? OH Yes!
Once in a while everyone craves something decadent. Something rich that you will only need a few bites of. Well, this is the recipe for you!
This Healthy Snicker Bar Recipe is made with whole, natural ingredients. You can make these into bars or chocolates. I found silicone chocolate bar size and shape molds. They inspired me to create this recipe! If you can find these silicone molds you can use a regular muffin tin, mini muffin tin or even chocolate candy molds.
Any way you create this recipe you will love it. Please remember this recipe is very rich. You need to consume very little to be satisfied. Enjoy!
This recipe is gluten free, vegan, raw, dairy free and the perfect Healthy Snicker Bar Dupe.

These look amazzzing!
They are soooo good 🙂
I can’t eat dates… what would be a good alternative?
Hey Jessica! I do not have an alternative for date in this recipe (or anywhere this carmel sauce is used)
What is the purpose of the dates? do you think i could get by without using them ?
No. You need dates for this recipe.
You could use soaked sultanas or raisins – i have substituted in other recipes, and its worked well….the taste is different of course, but just as delicious 😉
Do you have the calorie content for this bar?
Made these as our family’s vegan Halloween treats. They were ridiculously delicious!
So wonderful to hear :)))
Hi Amy! I recently made these bars and they were a huge hit! In fact, now my SIL is trying to make them but her chocolate keeps seperating–She’s tripling the recipe for a party. Have you ever doubled or tripled it? Do you have any idea why it would seperate?
Hey Heidi! It sounds like she is heating the coconut oil before she puts it in the food processor. This would cause the separation. Tell her to make sure she does not heat the oil.
What about a substitute for almond butter? I am allergic to almonds.
Yes! You can try blended chickpeas! Or seeds
Chickpeas for a replacement if you are allergic to chickpeas.
Almonds I meant. Woops !!!
Why do we soak the dates and do we add the water into the food processor or not? I use Medjol dates.
Hey Louise! You soak them to give them a creamy texture for blending. You drain them completely before you use them Enjoy.
Thanks Amy I did just that and have made them into balls (using silicone cake pop moulds). They are currently in my freezer but I have leftover caramel and a little bit of chocolate, what can I do with it?
What are the nutrition facts? Calories, fat
Content etc.?
can I use something else for oil? im allergic to coconuts..
Not for this recipe.
How many days does it last withut refrigeation
It is natural so not too long. I can not say a date as they have never lasted more than a week at our home 🙂
My family is extremely picky and I cannot get any of them to even try anything beyond the norm but I made these a few weeks ago and my young children were literally fighting over them. These are amazing I would never even dream of buying a candy bar ever again!!
So great to hear!!!
Omg these look amazing!!!
Thanks Nicole! enjoy
Delicious, delectable, divine! These are absolutely amazing. My hubby said he’s never tasted anything so yummy before.
Thanks Tammy!!! So excited you both loved them!
These are to die for! I havent had a snickers bar in so long due to my intolerances and the fact ive gone preservative free/organic. This really gave me my chocolate hit for the day and the caramel tasted better then i expected. Thanks so much for sharing your recipes.
xoxo
Do we use medjool dates or chopped dates? They both have very different textures.
Hey Jessica! Medjool dates are best! and you do not have to soak them as long as they are fresh 🙂 Enjoy!
Thanks so much! So excited to make this!
I guess you could use whole almonds rather than peanuts to make these bars paleo friendly?
Yes!
So I made these. Substituted nuts products with cashew butter & cashews. Used maple agave for syrup & agave. Instead of soaking dates, I added rum to food processor til it was smooth. Orgasim!
PS: Can you tell us calorie count!
Awesome! Here is the info on calories http://www.damyhealth.com/faq/
Can I use agave instead of the maple syrup? Its the only sweetener I have at the moment.
Yes!
Hey, I saw these recently for sale at a farmer’s market. Almost exactly the same except she used coconut milk for the caramel portion, thoughts? I was thinking it would be a significant reduction in calories.
What can I use in place of the agave?
Hey Britt! You can use nothing as the dates are fairly sweet! But if you have a sweet tooth you can use maple syrup, coconut sap, or liquid stevia.
