Do people seriously eat stuff with vanilla extract, raw? I mean – that’s a lot of alcohol and it can’t be healthy to feed to children without it being cooked, can it?
It is fine! 1 teaspoon in a recipe for 4 is fine!

You can buy alcohol free vanilla too…

This is sooo
yummy (like everything you do)! Brought it to work, and my co-workers all
asked for the recipe. They were very surprised at what was in this ‘caramel’!
🙂 Had to make if for dessert for a dinner party as well. One of my new fav
treats.
SO great to hear :))) Thank you for the love :)) Hope you had a great weekend!!!
Hi just wanna know the reason of soaking the dates.
Thanks in advance.
p/s: u re simply awesome 🙂
Its to make them smooth and the right consistency. Thanks! Have a great day!
Another amazing recipe! No need for regular caramel when you have this recipe 🙂
Anything I can substitute for almond butter? (Allergic to nuts) Thank you!
Can you have sunflower seed butter? I’ve seen it as a substitute for almond butter on other sites.
OH MY GOSH! These were a-m-a-z-i-n-g ! I made them as caramel coated apples last night for Halloween. Instead of nut pieces, I decorated it with unsweetened shredded coconut. I think it went well with the slight aroma of the coconut oil.
Also, I did’nt have almond butter on hand (and didn’t felt like whipping of a batch) and no agave, so I used PB2 and equal parts of maple syrup and raw honey.
So great to hear that you loved it!!! 🙂 Thanks for stopping by and sharing the love!!!
