If you follow my blog you will soon realize I’m snack crazy. This is because with the DAMY Health Programs we focus on eating 5-6 times per day. These mini meals consist of 3 meals and 2-3 snacks. A passion of mine and a promise I give to my members is to provide them with infinite snack options so they never get bored. It is important for not only their taste buds but for their bodies to have a wide variety of natural whole foods. My main focuses with snacks are complete proteins, whole grain carbohydrates, healthy fats, fiber, and anti-oxidant pack fruits and vegetables.
It is important to switch up/have variety in your diet. This is why I ask my members to not have the same snack more than once a day. A rule that runs through all the DAMY Health Programs is that if it comes packaged, boxed, etc it’s not on plan. This means that snacks should consist of whole natural foods or the recipes that I provide (which are whole natural foods combined). I don’t care how many times the label says ‘Healthy,’ ‘Low-Fat,’ or ‘Natural Health Product’ generally speaking these are products dressed up to look healthy and to trick the consumer. The best way to avoid this is to not buy into the claims.
At DAMY Health we highly recommend having a day of the week where you cook and prepare in advance. Sunday Cook-Day is one that works for me and many others. Here you can prepare all your snacks and other foods for the week. Being prepared to eat healthy is already winning. The biggest complaint (and I call – excuse) that others have is “I don’t have time to eat healthy.” Yes You Do. You just have to prepare. You don’t have time not to eat healthy. Daily you’re making the choice to have a healthy, happy energetic life starting with eating healthy.

Hey Kaycee!! They are not in specific order. The “best” is sometimes different at different stages of weight loss. The best thing to do is always shake it up! Veggies and fruit are the leanest, but all have their time and place. Feel free to email me if you want some info for you!
